AfCS Ligand Screen Experiments
Instructions

This Table has two purposes. It provides an overview of the experimental results, and it serves as a portal for inspection and query of the data set.

Results: Data features have been selected for each experimental platform that are felt to reflect important aspects of the cellular response. A "Y" (yes) in the box indicates that the ligand caused a change in at least one of the data features that passes an appropriate statistical test. A "N" (no) indicates that no significant change was observed for any of the features evaluated. A blank box indicates that experiments have not yet been performed.

Portal: The Table serves as a portal for three different types of displays. Selecting the box at the intersection between a row (Ligand) and column (Experimental Platform) takes the user to a new page that displays the data from all Ligand Screen experiments in which treatment of cells with a single ligand was evaluated using a single experimental platform. Selecting the Ligand Name in the row heading takes the user to a page that provides a brief description of the ligand and a summary of the results from all of the experimental platforms. Selecting the Experimental Platform in the column heading calls forth a page that permits the user to query the data set to display comparative results from various selected ligands (currently under development). In addition, links to the experimental protocols are provided under each column heading.
